Special Olympics Ontario (SOO) – Hamilton is dedicated to enriching the lives of people with an intellectual disability through sport. Special Olympics believe that through sports training and competition their athletes benefit physically, mentally, socially and spiritually. With the involvement of the community they are able to live in an environment of greater understanding, equality and respect.
SOO – Hamilton were looking for a project that would bring in new volunteers and new members, Through the FootPRINT Fund we were able to work with them to create flyers to be handed out and posted in community locations to raise awareness of their various sports and volunteer opportunities.
