The Bay Area Science and Engineering Fair (BASEF) is a free science fair competition with incredible prizes open to students. BASEF strives to encourage and reward interest in science, engineering and technology among young people. This year’s 52nd annual BASEF held at Mohawk College attracted 334 projects representing 465 students from Hamilton, Halton and Brant-Haldimand- Norfolk.

BASEF needed brochures to be distributed to raise awareness of the competition. Allegra through the FootPRINT Fund helped by printing these brochures which helped BASEF access new sources of sponsorship as well as increase the value and number of annual awards and prizes available to the student competitors.

“Allegra provided excellent service, their staff was very helpful and helped by making very good design suggestions.” -Helen Barton, Co-Chair BASEF 2012
