Hamilton Police Service Marine Unit
2016 marks the 30th anniversary of the
Hamilton Police Service Marine Unit, whose
friendly officers patrol Hamilton Harbour to
ensure the safety and security of everyone on
the water. The HPS took over this service from
the former Hamilton Harbour Commission
Police, who were responsible for patrolling
the Harbour from 1921 to 1986.

25 years, Heddle Marine has been offering

Port of Hamilton.

McKeil Marine is a Hamilton success story: a family business launched on Hamilton Harbour in 1956,
which has grown to be a North American leader in specialized marine logistics. McKeil Marine
continues to grow and diversify its services, recently adding to its fleet, and providing innovative
docking solutions in some of the continent’s most challenging marine environments.
